Just returned last night from a week in and around Missoula for Forrest’s graduation. What a great trip. We hit the ground running Thursday, May 13 mid day when Forrest picked us up. Checked in at the Mountain Valley and I am pretty sure Forrest and I were drinking a beer at Kettlehouse South before 3 PM. Friday flew by, with a lunch meeting with Dane Scott of UM Center for Ethics and ended with a BBQ at Kim’s. Darlene (Grandma) arrived just after 9 PM, and I checked in at Becky and Gary’s. Subliminal Plug One: Buy lumber from Heritage Timber, Montana.
Saturday, Graduation Day, Forrest and I met for free continental breakfast at 7:30. He had to be ready to line up at 8:45 for a 9:30 launch. Word is this was the first commencement outside at the U of M. And the day was a beauty.
Will flesh this out later, but you can read more about this trip at Dalis’ Blog Entries Here and Here and Here.
