June 25

Good morning, the sun is shining and soon we are off on our bikes. The only decision we have to make is how far to ride.  Houston keeps you informed on that.  I have found that time goes by quickly when riding…except maybe the last 5 to 10 miles. The Canadian Rockies are spectacular.  We have ridden past many peaaks that draw you to them.  All snow capped.  This is my sixth day of riding.  I deal with wind, hills, mountains, and trucks…oh ya, and a coyote was chansing me (right on my back right tire for two miles).  Houston was in front of me.  I was yelling nasty things to the oyote. Finally he decided the game was over.  We just rode as fast as we could.  Two young women saw this happen and stopped to make sure all was good.  We have been eating well,  Lots of bars during the day…ick.  Have had some rain but not forceful and rather short lived.  We have a short ride today so think I will take a dip in the lake.  We try to stay in Provincial Parks.  Meet nice folks.  Everyone wants to hear our story.  Better go or they will leave without me.  I haven’t seen a bear but the guys have.  Miss everyone but always plenty to think about and do.  Love,

sue
